Internationality

It is the goal of the Christian Democrats to be ever more clearly a part of the European Christian Democracy. A representative or representatives of the party participate in the seminars and conferences of the European People's Party - EPP group whenever possible. The Finnish CD is an observer member of the EPP. In addition to this, the events organized by the Conrad Adenauer Foundation and the European Christian Political Movement - ECPM are attended whenever resources permit.

Collaboration with the Nordic sister parties continues by sending delegates to the Kontaktmöte of the KDN and the secretarial meetings. In addition to the Nordic CD meetings, the party sends representatives to the party congresses of the Nordic sister parties. Collaboration with the sister parties in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will be increased.
