Räsänen urges Finnish parties to disclose campaign funding

Ms. Päivi Räsänen, the leader of the Finnish Christian Democrats, challenged all parties to disclose the sources of their European Parliament election campaign funding on a voluntary basis before the poll date.

- The proposals of the justice ministry's working group on the transparency of party funding will miss this election, so what one needs now is voluntary transparency, ms. Räsänen said at a party meeting in Helsinki.
